Traditionally, the photographer is one of the first services to be booked for a wedding. It is a momentous occasion, a day to be remembered and treasured and so it is understandable that this service is a priority.

Using Canon equipment, North East Wedding Videos offers a bespoke service that aims to give you what you want, not what we think you want! Every couple has their own requirements and so we work closely with them to ensure that the day is captured just as they want it to be. The couple are provided with a checklist that covers any conceivable situation - we think! This is sent out at an appropriate time before the wedding and we will meet to go through it. If you have any additional photographs not on the list then these can be added. If any special effects are required then these can also be discussed and the cost of additional time negotiated.

It is also important that the couple get the style of photograph they wanted. We shoot, formal, informal, reportage, colour, selective colour, black and white, and sepia. Decisions can be taken after the proofs have been seen.

We are perfectionists and have been known to spend a great deal of time ‘cleaning up’ photographs removing from photographs unwanted gravestones, removing unwanted uniform braiding, adding housebound relatives to wedding family portraits and removing unsightly telegraph poles and leaves from paths.

Some photographs from recent weddings can be found on this site but, of course, we’d be delighted to show you samples of photographs in true resolution.

A point worth noting is that we do not charge extra for staying at the reception to photograph speeches, the ACTUAL cutting of the cake, responses of guests and, of course, we are there to photograph the first dance and some of the evening celebrations. THIS IS ALL INCLUDED IN THE PRICE.
